Member of University Court
Caroline is an experienced local government senior leader with a background in transformational change, operational management and strategic leadership. She has led a wide range of services including community arts, libraries and museums and has held responsibility for corporate risk, health & safety, community learning and development and taking a whole family approach to tackling poverty and improving wellbeing for families and communities. Caroline is currently a Local Government Chief Officer with responsibility for place and economy. She is also a Director of the Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council.
Caroline is a lay member of the Court, appointed on 1 February 2026.
